Mesothelioma is a serious form of cancer, and as with any type of cancer, requires a variety of treatments and medications in an attempt to combat it. Following is a list of things that the care taker of a mesothelioma patient should consider when preparing the food for the patient:

Talk to a doctor or professional dietitian to help complete a list with necessary food for the patient. It will greatly help when shopping.
Cook more food at a time, and freeze the rest after the patient has finished eating
Asbestos dust will cause mesothelioma cancer, but positive foods will help prevent that from happening. Try eating as much as possible of the following:

tumeric
avocado
broccoli
carrots
chilli peppers and jalopenos
cruciferous vegetables
mushrooms (the safe ones, but fresh, not canned)
nuts
oranges and lemons

raspberries

rosemary
figs
flax and flax seed
garlic
grapefruit
grapes
kale
licorice root
